Friend of mine has a 94 Olds 88 and she wants to have a deck in there and w/ the steering wheel controls working...she saids she'll pay for the adaptor/ where can i get it and how much does it cost...

If I remember correctly Sony and Alpine are two manufacturers that have a feature on mid-upper scale decks that you can get an adapter to work with the stock steering wheel controls.
Talk to Best Buy or Ultimate Electronics or some other audio/electronics shop -they should know who has em.

Oh, and WOO HOOO. Legit Post # 1000!!!!

David, do a google search on SWI-X. That'* the one I was running last year. You need a deck with IR remote for it to work.

you can buy one at the www.clubgp.com store. It'* under electronics I do believe and runs at around $57. I use it and it works great. very simple to install too.
