when i purchased my 2001 bonneville ssei it was already missing the factory 12 disk cd changer cartridge, so i never had to figure out how to use it. I have disconnected the cd changer and installed an isimple to the cd changer connection. I looked up how to change the input to have the cd changer work and your supposed to press the cd/tape button, but nothing happens, even when I hooked the cd changer back up it still does nothing. Im getting power to the cd changer but it seems as if I'm not getting signal to my radio. Even with the Isimple out of the equation I'm pretty sure that I'm supposed to be getting errors at my radio telling me whether the disk changer is empty or loading or something. My guess is that some wires are broken or disconnected and the dealership has been no help. Any ideas?????
