Fuel Pump????
So I am trying to be nice and civil with my soon to be ex wife. She got the bonny and I got the truck, I wanted the bonny...anyways....I replaced the fuel level sensor about and month and a half ago. Not a big deal, kind of a pain in the a** to get out but I did it. Just yesterday she call me yelling at me about how the car is sputtering and wanting to die but is still going. I tell her to get it to a shop or somewhere to have the check it out (remember, she 'kicked' me out a while ago, so I dont NEED to help). She calls me later and says that the check engine light was on and that she was told it is the fuel pump. What could I have screwed up when I replaced the fuel level sensor? Could something not be hooked up right? Wouldnt it have messed up sooner? Any input would be great fellas.....
PS Where is the BEST place to buy a replacement......

I would try replacing the fuel pump filter. It'* under the car just in front of the driver side rear wheel. Also, check what the fuel pressure is on the fuel rail. If it'* low, that may give you a better idea of what the problem is.
