Winter rims

Will 16 inch steel rims fit over the brakes on the SLE and SSEi ? I would like to go to a taller more narrow tire fot the winter.

Thanks

16's will work fine.

I dont know Haro. SLE's and SSEi's have larger front brakes than SE's

probably why stock SLE's and Ei's come with 17's and Se's come with 16's

Thanks guys, I missed that post. 16's are way cheaper than 17 inch winter tires.

Hi Bill, was actually wondering about Jim's (Gumball) wheels, are these the ones you are referring to or I am open to others if they are not going to bankrupt me. Want to use the factory 17's for winter next year and get new rims and rubber soon

Jim runs his original 20 spokes in a 17in rim size.

There's a guy in NY selling a set of 20 spokes with snow tires on them. I believe he recently bumped his for sale thread. I forget his forum name..but Kyle is his name.
