Check RockAuto. They carry Dorman, ACI, and ACDELCO. Huge differences in prices...can't tell you which one would be any better than the GM stuff.

Sawgunner,

Just bought the $102 set off Ebay. Any issues installing them? Might right rear regulator went out two summers ago while on vacation in MN, installed clamps to keep window from falling. Yesterday during the ice storm the left rear regulator failed and window is half down, so went to ebay and bought the set. Hope the ship soon, I don't want to clamp up the other window and it is cold outside.

they work awesome no issues on install go in just like O.E. 15 minutes to do it once the panel is off

The regulators are easy to install. Just a tip, with the new reg, plug it in to the door module and roll it down a smidge, this will make the install so much easier

Thanks!!

The best fix is the Archon fix. It fixes it permanently. The W bodies have the same issues and I'd fix it the same way. Buying a new regulator is simply asking for the problem to pop up further down the road. Once you get in there and look at the issue..it's easy to see why it fails.
