Front hub removal problems, Need help!
ok so the pass hub was going on my 04 bonni. So i figured ok easy job, Hell I have done lots of work, even swapped an engine in my old lincoln by myself. Holy crap is this a nightmare. 3 hours on friday, 6 hours on saturday... and the damn thing still will NOT come off... Been using a hub removal tool form autozone.. did nothing... been hitting it with hammers and trying to pry it out, nothing.. been heating up the hub assembly with map gas, hoping maybe the hub would expand, using wd-40 to try to get the rust out also.. so yea this has been the hardest thing I have ever done to a car since I started working on cars.
Here is my solution... I am planning on taking out the entire spindle, removing the axle from the tranny.. just so I can really hammer the hell out of the hub to get it out... and while doing this I might as well replace the axle, seeing as its only 80 bucks... on a side note.. why is the entire axle assembly 80 bucks.. and that hub I paid 200 bucks???
Any advice before I finish the job monday night would greatly be appericated. Thanks

Just did my 03,,,,,, passenger side came apart easy.
Driver side was a PITA. WD-40 WILL NOT DO IT !!!!!
you need a PB blaster or some kind of a catalist to break that down.
put the puller on heat and spary, leave the pressure on it, give the threaded rod a smack then a few more turns, more heat, more penetrant a few more turns on the rod, another smack etc

Rent a 3 jaw puller from AutoZone to "pull it off" Hook it to the outside of the hub and put the center on the axle. You will need a LONG 1/2 inch ratchet or beaker bar. I had the same issue mine. I ended up keeping the puller That'* what you get with steel wheel bears and an aluminum knuckle.
