I interpretted your post to mean you too were looking for discussion on troubleshooting your leak as well, which warrants a separate post, regardless if it is the same topic of discussion.

anyone else have a problem with water leaking in the backseat and building up on the floor behind the driver seat. Its only on the driver side and the headliner and b-post are dry. got any ideas?
I'm "anyone with water collecting behind the driver'* seat and a dry headliner and dry b-post" (pillar between front & rear door) just trying to help someone else with a general issue for now (need to pinpoint source of the leak, of which there are several potential areas). I'm not sure if "water leaking in the backseat" means the leak source has been spotted or that'* where the water'* collecting.

Anyway, I took a water hose all around my car after pulling out the rear carpet and using a wet vac to determine the approximate leak source. You'd be surprised how much water that rear carpet can hold.

Those pics are mighty nice and insightful.
