My first window regulator failure
Ok, I've seen the old posts. I know the drill.
My rear passenger window regulator died the other day. So far, the best price I've seen is about $205 (with shipping). Some older entries listed $178 as a price. Where are you guys looking for these parts?
I've looked at http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ and http://www.gmotors.com/.
I've got mine held up with a set of locking pliers right now.... Seems to work well.
Any suggestions on where to buy?

I've bought several from gmpartsdirect.com. I think they were about $180 shipped, Fortunately, I haven't needed one in the last year or so...so that price may be old.

Hi Nitro,
I just bought the SE about two months ago... It had 89k miles when I bought it. This bonnie was a company car for a sales woman (she wore a hole in the driver'* side floor mat with her high heel). Lot'* of miles, but I got it for $8k... It is a loaded SE, leather, cruise, climate conrol, all the goodies.
I got rid of a VW Cabrio (1996). Gas mileage was the same and I was tired of fixing all of the plastic body parts on the Cabrio. Get this, the final straw on the Cabrio was a WINDOW REGULATOR!!!
Sometimes, you can run, but you can't hide... I was destined to replace window regulators... Anyway, at least the bonneville regulator is about half the price of the Cabrio regulator.
