Default window regulator

Ok today my regulator quit working while I was out. I have it out of the car and the wire is snapped. Is it still fixible or do I need a new one?

Even though it may look like it, the cable did not snap. What you see is the anchor for the upper cable, and that'* pretty normal for the regulator failure. Repair instructions are here.

Good Info, I've had both of my back door regulators go out on my 2002 Bonneville. The cable is laying in the bottom of the door.
