Busted off passengers door side mirror... :(
Backing out of driveway and the fence came off the hinge at the top which i didnt notice..
completely took off the side mirror off its a 2000 SSEI Bonneville.
My questions are how long should this take to fix and how much would be the estimated price to fix?
Thank You so much

Welcome to the Bonneville forum.
That will depend if you damaged the door or not. Each shop is different. If all you id is damage the mirror all you will need is a new mirror. Check the for sale area. I thought I saw some 00+ parts listed in there. Otherwise there is Ebay. That way if you do the work the only cost will be the mirror and some of your time.

As Danthurs mentioned, it'* pretty straight forward as long as the door is fine. In addition to the small door speaker that covers the bolts for the mirror, the door panel itself will also have to be removed. The wiring harness for the mirror runs down behind this to plug into the PDM (Passenger Door Module). This isn't difficult, but there is a trick to reinstalling it correctly. When my car was under warranty, two different dealerships failed to reinstall the door panel correctly ane in each case I had to re-do it myself. Our door panels are a little different than a lot of other cars.
What colour do you need?

Shops are kind of funny this way. I guess the question becomes... whether you want to do the work yourself and if so, I may have a source for a mirror. I'll have to check. It is not a difficult project at all and you may want to give it the old college try. If you're not comfortable, it'* maybe better to just let them handle it entirely. What you need to consider is your skill comfort level and the costs involved. I'll check on the mirror, get a cost and see if it'* still available. You can decide from there.

Just heard back from my friend. Unfortunately he sold the one he had. You could still call wrecking yards yourself if you wanted to try the repair. Another possibility is searching using Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for a one. Otherwise, I'd probably just leave it for the shop to find you one. If there is ever a problem, their position would be that you supplied the mirror and it'* not their responsibility. I can definitley understand this too, but like I said, it'* not a difficult repair to do yourself.
