Tried Search...ELC Trick/Drag Prep Info
 

I'm heading out to the track on Sunday for some test and tune. I was searching for the "ELC Trick" but did not find any info

Could someone post a link to the thread that has the info I need?

Components are in a different location if I recall. You need to find the selector valve. Should have air lines and an electrical connector. Disconnect the electrical, and press ON at the utility inflator control, then after the back end jacks up, remove whatever fuse controls the ELC to prevent it from venting back down.

If anyone could provide further detailed info for the 2000+'s it would be greatly appreciated.

I dont have any pics but wished I had.

Remove both wheel speed sensors from the front wheels. You can reach around the tire and feel the wire loom that goes into the wheel bearing. Just pull them off and let hang (they will be ok).

On the drivers side rear tire is where the ELC sensor lives. It is a ball & socket bracket, use a short screw driver to pry apart the ball and socket, use a pair of pliers to pop them back together after the race. This does not take much force taking apart or putting back together, have a look and give it try before the weekend.

I recommend pulling all 4 wss. Also, dont forget to put your ELC back on when you lave the track. Empty trunk with full elevation makes for a squirely back end.

Oh and don't forget to pull the parking brake sensor connection also.

Haven't pulled the rear speed sensors and it didn't seem to make a difference...but then maybe it does. I'll have to try that next time.
