Traction Control

When I hit the TC button the loght on the dash says its off but when i jump on it and it starts to spin it deffinitly isnt off. The revs stop, and power is limited until traction is gained. Whut up wit dat yo.

Mine does that also. I believe it kicks in automatically when needed even when shut off as a safety precaution. But I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in soon.

Turning that off only disables SOME of the TC. The rest is in the PCM and we call it 'torque management'.

Get a PCM from INTENSE to take care of the rest of it.

turning off the traction control only allows the wheels to spin for a very short ammount of time, and not at too high of a speed to protect the transmission. The only reason really that traction control is even able to be turned off is because if you ever need to rock the car back and forth to get it unstuck from snow, or mud, you need to be able to spin the tires a little to accomplish this. It doesn't however, allow you to spin them fast enough, or for long enough of a time to damage anything. think of it as a way to protect your transmission from damage from doing things you really shouldn't be doing anyway.
