Default Yet another heated seat issue

I have a 2002 pontiac bonneville SLE and my passenger heated seat stays on for 2 seconds, the relay trips and it shuts off. I replaced the button, relay and curently took apart the entire seat and tested every wire going in and out of the foam under the leather. everything was fine except for two little wires that go together and form a little blue circle. the resistance in these wires is 10,000 ohms which seems excessive.

Could this be a 10,000 ohm resistor or is something wrong?

also, if it is the wiring from my relay to the button, has anyone had that problem and how did they fix it. This car only has 20,000 miles and I've soooo much more pain than pleasure. I am about to give up on GM altogether! please help!

No I didn't mean leave the forum, I like this forum, I mean give up on the vehicles and GM'* great ability to not take responsibility to there very obvious and costly mistakes.
