Default Tie rod end

Yeah so anyway...I was getting my tires balanced today, and the dude came out and said I have a bad tie rod end. I am going Monday to get it checked to see if it is the inner or outer. Anyone got any war stories on this?? I'm gonna check GMPartsdirect to see how much I can look to spend on it. Is it a labor intensive job??

Thanks for the help,

Tim

It'* not that bad of a job to do. Alot of shops will let you buy the part and then they will put it on for a labor charge.

It'* not a hard job. Odds are that it is the outer tie rod end, as those fail more often. Tie Rod End Replacement
