Default Gurgling in engine bay

If I do a few WOT runs in traffic or open it up above 75 for even a short period of time then cut the car off, I hear what seems to be a gurlging noise from under hood. I checked my coolant and its brown and low, so I think its the LIM but I'm not sure. Any input is welcome. TIA

if you coolant is brown and low, its probably lost its cooling capabilities and is boiling. You need to flush the system and refill it regardless of the intake status.

How many miles does it have? Does the exhaust smell like coolant? Have you checked the oil recently? Is it anything other than the regular dark color?

This might seem dumb to you, but how do you flush the coolant? My car has almost 118,000, as far as exhaust goes I would have to say no but I'm almost never outside my car with it running so I cant say for sure. Had the oil changed 2500 miles ago, and haven't had time to check it since. I only did a quick once over but it just appears to be dark. I will take a more thorough look in the morning and post anything I find odd about the coolant

Its probably just gurgling from overflowing back to the reservoir or around your heater core....Ive heard it on other kinds of cars sometimes, also.

Have you popped the hood to listen/watch where its coming from?
