Gd morning all. I"ve been noticing that when im on the highway especially and going around bends, if i hit the slightest bump I'll get a lot side to side movement in the body. Sometimes it even feels like the rear tires are sliding out depending on which direction im turning. Overall the steering isnt feeling as tightly as i think it should. now i know i need new tires. so thats a given. I also recently had new struts and coil springs put on the front so thats not the culprit. Im wondering if what im experiencing is rack and pinion or even sway bar related. what do you guys think. on a side note recently performed my LIM gasket swap. :D cleaned up the engine bay, throttle body and LIM, even the eaton. so now ive got what feels like a lot more power, a lot more throttle response, only im now having problems controlling it. Not fun. Let me know what you think.

Check your sway bars front and rear.

Depending on the condition of your rear shocks, that could be a contributing factor.

In addition to the sway bars, you might also want to look at the rear suspension link arm. Number 26 on the picture.

Ok sounds good. Yea Bill the rear shock are still the originals< so I had already planned a swap out for them. I"ll definitely look into the sway bars and rear suspension link arms as well.

I would say more specifically look at the bushing on the rear link arms, if they are letting the arms move front to back too much it could cause some really interesting (or scary depending ) things to happen. I am planning on doing the suspension on our Bonnie soon and will try to document everything.

I would lean towards your shocks or a broken sway bar

Thanks guys. Its all getting replaced anyways. My intent is to have this car for years to come. So my goal is for it to be relatively new by the end of the year, with a few performance enhancements of course.
