KS..if you search on Archon with regulator you will find a quick easy and nearly free way to fix them.

This is a run down on the things needed to be done to my 2001 Bonnie and what I have already done. Does anyone else have these same issues with similar year car? If not did I get a lemon and do I need to cut my costs and sell it and look for a lower mileage car? I really love this car but man the total cost out of pocket will exceed 1500 dollars for repairs to get it back into top shape:

Repairs for the Bronze Bullit 2001 Bonnie:

Radiator Leak $579
Rear Shocks: $341
Catalatic Converter: $347
New Windshield from large crack: $150
Air Mix Actuator on drivers side: $?
Fuel Sending Unit: $? (Possibly Do it myself)
Oil Pressure Guage not working Definitely the gauge since it does not fan left and right: $?
LIM Gasket Replacement: $350
Valve Cover Gaskets: $?
Rear Speaker Replacement : $? Can do this myself I hope with your help
Scytek Alarm system redo, so it doesn’t go off every hour or so on it’s own, probably the sensitivity or a short: $?
Slow oil seepage on the oil pan gasket: $?
That’s about it so far these are the things I need to do to the car to get it in top shape in the coming months:

Things I have done so far:

Replaced Oil Sending Unit :$40
Replaced t-stat in the coolant hose (Did this myself) $10 dollars plus my 30 minutes of time
Weld job to stop exhaust leak $197 dollars at midas
Tune UP changed wires and plugs and 2 coils. Misfire is now gone. $150
Window Tint: $130
Professional Detail: $45
Oil Change: $46 Filled with high mileage oil
Car still runs good and strong, but the radiator leak is going to be a real issue unless I get it corrected soon. It only seems to leak when the car is on and up to operating temp, I might try some BAR stop leak first.

Concerning the Rad LIM and V/C gaskets, I would try and do all in one shot. There is alot of crossover lbr involved in all these repairs. You would only need to drain the rad once. That would help with removing the serp belt ten to get the rear V/C off, etc.
The rear shocks and fuel sending unit you can do yourself too.
With the shocks you just need good hand tools. The Sending unit comes out through the trunk. The oil pan gasket is something you can do on your back.
The cat I would search the forum. These guys here have narrowed it on what to buy. I need one too, its noisy :( . If you are having emmisions issue i.e. SES light and or state inspection failures I would buy what the forum recommends and have a local exhaust shop install. Unless you know someone that can hook you up.
The windsheild is something you will need to have done. Do you have HUD? if so its more expensive because of that.
The cluster is something you wil probably need to take to someone.
The reason is they will exchange your bad cluster for one the is working. They will need to program the miles into the new one form your old one. The place that fixed the cluster might now allow you to do this. That is something to look into base don where you live.
You also mentioned a win rerg failing too.
This is an easy fix even if you buy a whole unit. it is something you can fix with a few hours of time.
Research the issues you have here on the forum. All your problems are pretty much par for the cource as far a Bonneville is concerned. There are even r/r instructiosn with pics.
If you run into a problem post it up we can help you.
