Default Tranny cooler line HELP!!

I was changing front brake pads on my wife'* 03 SSEI this morning when I noticed a puddle under the car which turned out to be the lower tranny cooler line. I went to the dealer and bought the line, took off the plastic cover underneath and loosened the rubber mounted brackets that hold the lines. Parts counter guy said that there are two clips on each end of the line, take those off and the lines slides out, new one goes in. Sounded easy enough until I looked at where the line goes into the radiator. How in the heck are you supposed to get to that!!! I thought maybee if I drained all the coolant and took the lower radiator hose off it might make it easier to get too, but Im not even sure that would help? If anyone out there who has done this or has a manual that explains the trick could chime in I would be greatful. Thanks!
