Default I am thinking of purchasing a 2000 SLE

I am in the market for a used car. I think I found what I am looking for, I was really surprised at all the gadets and luxury of the SLE. This car I found is in dam good shape, it looks brand farking new. I am just wondering what are some common problems with these cars? Having all those options, does that just mean more stuff that can go wrong with these cars? The car has 136,xxx miles on it. Which is what is really holding me back from buying it. Has a good price on it, $7,700. Any info is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Congrats on your find
You really should get a hold of the service records as they will tell the tale' and tell us where the car is at in respect to maintenance.
Some things to look for are,
Clunk in intermediate steering shaft (may have a slight rub feel too)
Leaky trunk, check the spare tire well for any signs of mold etc.
Front Wheel bearings, maybe a bit louder in the turn oneway or the other.
As far as electronics watch the indicator lights on the radio, gauges, dash because they are leds and canot be serviced without sending it away or buying a new replacement.
Also the rear window regulators are known to just break for no real reason or condition (small plastic track anchor breaks)?
For the engine check the typical things but look for the upper intake gasket leak right around the egr valve and rear #6 cylinder, the problem has gotten a lot better in the recent years but its still out there.
