Default 3.8L Aluminum Oil Pan???

Anyone know what this motor came out of? Bought a used 3.8L L67 to go into my 02 SSEI. My mecahinc called me telling me he needs to use my old oil pan because the motor i bought has an aluminum oil pan with a motor mount attached. Anyone

My mechanic is Asian and is hard to understand on the phone so if this part/combo don't exist i musta heard him wrong...

Thumbs up

haha.. Thanks. I can't believe u are the 1st to tell me this.
I found out myself this morning...lol I misunderstood him on the phone when I spoke to him before starting this Thread. I though he was saying the motor he received had the aluminum oil pan.. It has been cleared up and they are both L67'* and after talking to him further i believe he is extremely competent. All is well
