car shakes at higher RPM'*
In my other post ive got going with tires, ive heard by a few of you that my car shaking at a higher RPM (4000+), its not due to my tires. I thought the tires would have something to do with it.
My transmission problem that i had earlier this month was just me hearing a new sound. but im happy to say that the SE seems to be normal and dependable, but i got a shaking problem.
any thoughts? any imput is appreciated

To best describe the situation: When my engine speed is at a higher rpm (4000+), it seems to feel like it cant take the stress, if that makes any sense. Its enough that i fear having to floor it if i need the power. I'm thinking maybe it needs motor mounts, but it only has 103,000 miles on it. Um, it feels like a quick and fast rattle/vibrating combination.
Let'* put it this way, do all engines feel that way when they're at a higher speed cause of all the power, or are they supposed to run as smooth as being at 2000 rpms.?
Hope this helped somewhat.

It could be the front motor mount. I just replaced mine with a custom urethane mount. The one I took off was almost ripped in half. I never noticed any shaking, but there was a lot of engine movement.
