Hey everybody, I recently bought used a 2000 SLE (LOVE IT!!!) and shortly after that I noticed the white back glow for the gages isn't lighting up. I rarely drive at night, but I do sometimes so its very important to find the problem and get it fixed. Does anybody have a clue where I should start??? Does that "throw a code"?
Also- The people put a new radio in it, I don't know if that has anything to do with it...


One more thing, I have noticed only sometimes a hard shift in gears when city driving, I read that it could be a pressure silenoid for the trans, does that usually throw a code?? It never does it when my husband drives the car, so he never believes me. PLEASE HELP.
