Default Windshield Washer Delivery System Question

Okay, so apparently I got a little too overzealous scraping the ice off of my car and screwed something up. The black tube that connects the windshield wiper washer fluid sprayers to the cowl came off. No problem, right? Well, no. Apparently the plastic nub that the tube connects to on the cowl also broke off and is still in the tube. I can see no way of re-attaching the tube to the place on the cowl where the fluid is pumped from the reservoir. It is broken almost flush with the cowl. Any ideas on a simple, DIY fix for this? Thanks in advance.

On a positive note, I now own what resembles a James Bond car in the sense that when I press the windshield washer button, it shoots a solid stream of fluid at almost a 90 degree angle towards the passenger side, completely overshooting the car. Panhandlers beware!

GO IRISH!!

Other then plugging the tube with something like a tooth pick, you will have to get a new one. Finding a 2000+ that'* being parted out will be hard. See if you have a pick and pull salvage yard.

The way it sounds, he broke the nipple of the nozzle. To small to glue. One of those things that needs to be replaced. I wonder if one will fit from a older parts car. There'* a few of those in the for sale area.

Thanks for the replies fellas. The above poster is correct that the nipple has broken off too close to the cowl for me to use a larger tube as a patch. From what I have been told, the nipple is part of the cowl and the entire cowl would need to be replaced. When the weather gets warmer, I'm going to try and see what is underneath the cowl. I might be able to drill down through where the nipple is, feed the tube down into the new hole, and make a connection from underneath. We'll see and I'll let you know how it works out!
