Default 2000 bonneville sle check tire pressure lite!

Recently purchased a 2000 SLE bonneville with 120000 km on it. The guy i bought the car off of told me that the check tire pressure lite has always come on since the day he bought it and has had it checked several times as well as checked the tire pressure. The pressure in the tires is always good but im still getting this warning everytime i start the car up! Is there any way to get it to stop giving me this reading?????? Thanks

According to the 2000 FSM, low tire pressure DTC'* are caused by one of more of the following conditions:

  • One or more tires are over inflated.
  • Tire pressures have been altered without resetting.
  • The tires have been rotated or changed without resetting.
  • The tires are different in size than the original equipment manufacturers.
  • Rough or slippery road conditions.
  • The tires are out of balance.
  • Loss of battery positive voltage at the EBCM (electronic brake control module).
  • A battery disconnect or low battery voltage condition.
  • Water intrusion into a wheel speed sensor connector.
  • A suspension conditions (vehicle is out of alignment).
