My mom has her car in a Pontiac dealership for the new steering shaft and to get a new rear window regulator. The regulator cost 78.00 and 400 something dollars total with work. The steering shaft is being replaced free, even though it is out of warrenty. They lubed it once, but it went bad 1,000 miles later out of warrenty. I will be interested to see if the new shaft really works. I will post later today after we pick it up.
