I have been getting this message more and more recently. I guess I need to take it in to the Dealer...but I wonder what caused that mesage...is it the stuts going out ?

This usually means you have a bad wheel speed sensor in one of the front hubs (although it could be the rears). You may notice your BRAKE and ABS light illuminated in the dash as well.

when i first bought my 00 bonneville i got the same message. the dealer said they had to change the steering sensor, cost a grand total of 700.00 but luckily the dealer eat the cost.
