Default Ext Temp wrong... Fixed..??

Update FYI

Thurs and Fri of this week, wife called and said the Bonny was saying 66 degrees outside. Now, living in Texas I would LOVE to believe that, unfortunately its 30 degrees hotter than that. (when will summer even end!!). I disconnected/connected the temp sensor, turn the key on and off a couple times, nothing worked. So off to the dealer.. Mechanic said he hooked up his programmer to the HVAC and reprogrammed the firmware and it went to 94 degrees. I figure if the sensor was bad, it would have stayed at 66.. So that was the fix.. I'll post back if anything else happens on that.

BTW, had the intermediate shaft "super lubed" by the dealer 4 weeks ago.. Already felt it pop once or twice. No big surprise thou..

Several members have had the new shaft.. Said it is no different than the old one physically, nor does it fix the problem.

I told my Service Manager it sounded like a waste to get one put in..

Once warranty is out, I will grease the shaft with a better grease and go on..

Don't you have the "electronic" climate control system? If not, that is what it'* a part of. After you set your interior temp or adjust fans or etc, it then shows you the Ext (outside) temp.

Just looked at your pictures on Cardomain.. You do have the auto climate control..

You would think that the SLE comes fully loaded. I guess not. I'm pissed.

Yeah and I see I am confusing your car with Mark. That was Mark'* car.

Someone else chime in, but no, the SSEi has options the SLE doesn't have besides the supercharger. I wouldv'e thought a SLE would have Climate control though.

Does anyone here with a SLE have their window sticker? Does it show the climate control as part of the SLE package or a separate entry??

Pat
