Some Desperate Help Needed!
OK, so I installed my new standard Intense PCM in my Bonneville today, completed the security relearn and the car started right up. But I have a number of Big Problems. So here it goes, My boost gauge, temp gauge, fuel gauge don't work now they all sit at zero. All of the warning lights are on all the time (security, battery). My traction control is won't come on. I don't even think that my HUD works (haven't verified it though). The Bonneville still runs but I have all of these issues. One last think MY Driver info screen states service engine soon, service anti theft soon. Any suggestions please!!! :cry:

Switch PCM's back if you still have the original. If everything is ok, go back to the INTENSE again. If you don't have the OEM PCM any longer, disconnect and reconnect the INTENSE PCM a couple times.

Well I went ahead and tried it, however it still did not fix the problem. I went ahead and put the original PCM back in and everything works fine. Has anyone else had this issue? Or has it just been plug and play (not counting security and case relearn). :cry: :cry:

Check for a bent pin on the new PCM. If it is bent, use a set of needle nose pliers or a flat head screw driver to straighten it out.
Also, flip the PCMs over check to see if the new PCM hardware number matches your stock PCM. Stupid question...but did you disconnect the battert when you did this? |

That might be the problem. I'm no expert on PCMs, but I'm sure there are only certain years that are interchangeable. |

I have found Intense to be very resonable to work with. They stand behind their products so give em a holler. That is a weird situation though, I have never heard of anyone having trouble. Of course that's not to say it can't happen though. Tim |
