Fuel Pressuure Sensor
Well I had some work done recently. SES light came on and it popped the code P0446. After scanning the computer, parts and labor, total damage came out to be $170. Sensor cost $66.45, and labor charge of $68.60 per hour. Approximately 1 hour of labor. No drivability issues, just knowing that the SES light is on.
Also, these codes popped up while scanning:
P0128 Engine coolant temp. below t-stat range. I take this to be that I will need a new t-stat soon.
P0811 - Max adapt and long shift - Trans. Anyone had this on their car?
Any questions? Comments?

Fuel pressure switch? The mechanic wrote both swtich and sensor on here. I have been thinking of changing the t-stat out anyways, and I let my car warm up a little longer now.

P1811 is indicative of the pressure control solenoid sticking. The symptoms include hard shifting. If so, I solved mine with a $90 Thrasher Shift Kit.

It could be P1811. Sometimes after driving on the interstate and driving through town, when the trans shifts, it jerks, and you can feel a vibration thru the entire car. The trans also has a high pitched whine to it when it starts doing it. Will this lead to transmission damage over time? Should I get it looked at right away?

I also forgot to mention that they did a "complimentary" fluid check and charged me for a quart of 50/50 Dex-Cool Mix. I have been reading about the Dex cool being responsible for eroding gaskets. Is this the same stuff? Should I be worried about this?

When I changed the oil and added Trans Tune, the problem went away for only about a month. I did the shift kit last June and nary a hard shift since!
Here'* my post afterward:

Sorry about bringing up an old post, but the SES light came on this morning. Stopped at autozone and the evap code popped again. I got a new cap and had the switch in the tank changed out. What could this be now? Bad gas? Hole in the tank or a line?
This better not be a reoccuring thing.....
