2000 Sunroof Wind Noise
My 2000 SSEi sunroof has some air leaks, making some noise when driving. I checked with GMPARTSDIRECT for a price on new sunroof panel weatherstrip and was told that it is not sold separately for this year, and I would have to buy a new panel with weatherstrip. Since GMPARTSDIRECT does not ship glass. I called my local dealer and can get it for $232.50. Any suggestions for fixing this problem CHEAPLY?
Thanks,
Martin

There are 4 torx screws in plain site if you're sitting in the driver'* or passenger'* seat. Two are on the driver'* side, two on the passenger side. With the sunroof closed, loosen all four screws a little and you should be able to push up on the inside of the glass. Tighten them down when the glass is pushed up.
That'* most likely your wind noise.
EDIT: Yeah, like that.....
