Hi All,
i would REALLY appreciate some advice. on my 2003 SSEi Bonneville, 85K miles

I just replaced,...
Intermeadiate Shaft, = clunk sound at slow speed turning, parking lots. $350
Steering wheel sensor = Stability System warning. $300

I bought this car band new, 2003. it has 85,000 miles now, I LOVE IT.

cool Thanks.

I changed the Plugs at 50K, and now it has 85K. New Tranny Fluid and Coolant Flush at 50K.

It took me 4 HOURS, just to change the BACK-CENTER plug.
i could not get the Plug Wire Off to spark plug.

HOW IN THE FRICK do you get the Plug wire off that spark plug????

i tried from Under the car, no dice.
i layed on top of the engine, and reached around, and Grabbed the boot, but i could not pull hard enough.

after about 30 tries, it finally popped off.

THE REAR SHOCKS WENT BAD,
do you think i should replace my FRONT Struts too?

THANKS
mike

the dealer also told me my Front Hubs were going bad.

1. they do not have that much play, in my opinion.
2. they are not making noise.

PS
i have to say this, I LOVE THIS FRICKIN CAR. it is AWESOME.

it is Roomy, LOOKS AWESOME, and it Moves!!!!!!!!!!

I removed the engine lift bracket from the back side of the engine. It gives you a little more room to work in when removing those back plugs. Make sure you put dielectric grease inside the wire boots before you reinstall them. That way they will be easier to remove next time. Make sure the wire going to the back center cylinder is well clear of the O2 sensor on the exhaust pipe.

when you change the rear plugs, slide one arm down by the p/* pump and the other over the engine and you can change the rear in about ten minutes. Are your front struts sloppy? If not, don't replace

If your hubs have no play, and not making noise, leave them be. The plug boots tend to get stuck when they don't come off very often. I change my plugs once a year.

I farted with trying to pull the boot on one of the back plugs for a few minutes, then realized I was installing new wires. Yanked directly on the wire and off it came (with boot). Obviously not recommended, but it needed wires anyway.
