Service air bag clicking steering wheel
My steering wheel is clicking like a teen speed bike as i turn right or left..first thing that started was my steering wheel radio controls stop working but lights were still on..next day the the lights went out on the steering wheel ***** and the dash came me the service air bag warning. that is when the clicking as i turn started, Is this common?...I been trying to locate my air bag fuse to disable air bag so i can look in to it.
Any advice?

I am still a very newbee but the clicking sounds like the intermediate shaft in the steering column. Mine is doing the exact same thing. I don't know as far as the electrical so I won't take a guess.
You can do a Intermediate shaft search I find more info. I don't know how to post a link.

Thanks for the reply..however, it is not my Intermediate shaft. the noise is coming right from the steering wheel airbag erea. I tried looking in the fuse box today and can not find a fuse to disable the airbag.

It may be that your air bag clock spring broke inside. Has your air bag warning light come on or stay on longer than it should? Or does it blink more than 6 times when you turn on the ignition?

The air bag warning is on solid no blinking...i can tell it'* someting small touching as i turn the steering wheel, you may be wright about the spring.

Thanks Toddster...I did look in the owners manual in fuse box section but no where states air bag. i did check the forums hear for this problem "service air bag" and they say disconnect airbag fuse before messing with airbag.
