Keyless Entry Distance
I was just wondering what the average distance most of you all get with your keyless entry. I notice that I have to be within say 10-12 feet. However, my grandfather has a 2000 Catera and his gets double that distance. Should I just try and replace the battery in the transmitter or is that the standard distance? Thanks.

My car is in the parking lot and my apartment is at the back of the building. I can unlock my car from my front door, which I would say is ooohh....50 feet or so

So, I guess its time to just get a new battery. Not that I'm worried about the expense or anything, but its nice to know everyones average. Shows me that I'm missing out. Thanks ya'll!

With one of my key fobs I get around 50 ft too. The second key fob dropped down to 10~20 ft range last year. I changed the battery but it didnt make a difference.
