Default 2005 SLE upgrades NON */C vs. */C

There'* alot of upgrades mentioned regarding the SSEI cars. I just bought a '05 SLE with the L36 engine. Question is-will the same upgrades work an a non Supercharged car? Do I want to install in my NON */C car the 1. Irridium 1 heat range colder plugs? 2. 180stat? 3. Would it make sense to even do the PCM? just not sure. Can you help?

Pretty much all the mods besides supercharger mods will benifit you in some way. Cooler engines (t-stat) make more power, any car could benifit from a PCM(make sure you get it specifically for your car since its not SC.) Plugs I wouldnt worry about getting too crazy from stock cause you dont need premium fuel and you dont have anyother mods right now. One thing that would help is indexing them. Gets a more even burn by placing all the plugs in the same position, thats what the little washer things on some plugs is for. Just search for it on the internet. Bigger plugs wires will help lower resistance so you get more charge to each plug. CAI (cold air intake)..... well, just search around here for mods, lots of posts, just ignore stuff that is supercharger specific (L67)
