Default changing rear spark plugs

This spring I'm gonna be doing some work to "Tha Regal8r". I am going to change plug wires, coils (to MSD'*), and prolly gonna do the sparks also.

I am planning on cleaning the TB, while I have it off will it make the back 3 plugs more accessible? Or would I have to remove the entire intake manifold??

Thanks,

Tim

Remove the entire intake manifold just to get to the spark plugs?

I haven't done mine yet either; but when I do, I was planning on going in from underneath with a long extension and a swivel socket.

removing the TB or intake is COMPLETELY unneeded....

You mean having eye balls on your finger tips?

I'm about to do two sets of them this coming weekend. We'll figure out what'* the best way. I assume it'* either underneath or memory like Haro is saying. I was actually hoping to get them from the top.

To get at my rear plugs,
I stand on the passenger side.
I set the new plugs on the back of the cowl.
I set the plug socket and stubby wobble extension ratchet on the blower.
I reach down with left arm in 2 diff areas, straight down the top for plugs 4 and 6, then from top front (over the power steering pump) for plug #2.
I hand plugs and tools back and forth with my right hand.
I remove one plug then install one plug, that way I can keep the wires organized.
It takes less than 10 min to do the back set this way.

I'm not sure I can even get to the plugs from underneath with headers installed?

I'll try it that way. I wasn't going to remove the entire intake or throttle body just to do the plugs. I was just asking while I had the throttle body off for cleaning would it make it easier to get to the rear plugs.

I have never done the plugs on my car and figure its time to learn.

Thanks,
Tim

For the back climb on top with knees on front of frame, do one at a time, most of it is by feel, not really hard at all just make sure you use the thread gunk and dieletric grease for wire connections.
