Removal of mirror

Wow, what a crappy day..First day trying to quit smmoking......and my car gets sideswiped. My question is 'HOW DOES ONE REMOVE PASSENGER MIRROR'. Its just hanging by the adjuster cable. I know how to remove the plate inside but how do I remove the cable. PLease help I have to drive 300 kms tommorow and I dont want my mirror dangling in the wind the whole time........Any help Thanks The kaddykid

in order to remove the mirror you must remove the door panel. unplug the connector..pull it out..boom done.

if the housing is broken I'd just cut the wires off. ;)

but untill you get a new mirror you can cut the wires like hans said.

Why, does the new mirror come with the harness ready to plug in. if not, I dont want to cut nothing. Id rather do it properly, then hack it apart

The new mirror will come with all the wiring attached and ready to plug in the connector in the door module. If you don't want to cut the wire, then following the instructions posted above from alldata, and removing the door panel is you only other option. That's what you'll have to do to install it.
