02 SSEI Intake Kit
Need some advice. I'm thinking of adding an intake kit in the near future. Is there one made for the 02 SSEI? Cold air vs reg air charger? Effects of removing the OEM intake box? Projected hp gain? Effects on gas mileage?

The Thrasher kit can be modified to fit but most guys simply add a pipe and cone filter with a homemade heat shield to keep the underhood hot air out.
Search thru previous CAI posts under the 2000 Bonne Section....
Cold laminar air flow is the key and it will make a difference. I p icked up almost 1/2 sec on my 0-60 time. 10 -20 hp.
The "Whining" sound of the supercharger is worth it alone. IMO
Probably pick some fuel mileage if you can stay of the pedal with the new sound of power.
