Default Rear rotors... suggestions?

OK, so my rear pads are pretty much done, and my rotors will need to be replaced too. I'm considering buying my own rotors so that the shop doesn't bilk me on parts (happened to me a long time ago, so I'm determined).

What are some good brands to consider? Bear in mind that all I'm looking to do is stop, and stop reliably. And not have to replace them again before too long.

Rear rotors don't take much abuse since they only contribute a small percentage of the overall braking. That said, any 'ol rotor will fit the bill.

Only difference I've found is that the economy rotors lack decent corrosion protection versus the more expensive brand name ones. If you choose to go the cheap route (I usually do), you'll just end up with some rust around the exposed area of the rotor outside of the wear surface. The more expensive ones do rust over time, but to a much lesser extent.

I usually shop www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.rockauto.com, and the local parts stores' website to find the best deals. Sometimes even with shipping, the online outfits are cheaper than what I can find locally, especially if you pair some other parts with the same order.

Yeah, I'm a fan of RockAuto also, and I've looked there. I just wondered if there was any risk in going cheaper-than-OEM. The site does have some pretty good prices on non-ACDelco rotors.

Also, Pep Boys will do my pads, shoes, and turn the rotors for $170. If I need new ones (ProStop is what they carry), it'* $240. That sounds decent to me, since other places have jobbed me before as I mentioned.
