rear door locks and windows do not work (UPDATED).

I am having the same problems as above. Checked the wires under the carpet and back seat for corrosion because I was getting water in driver rear floor under the carpet. All wires are clean. including the connector shown above. Need help. Here'* my situation:
All windows not operating, no power locks, no power mirror, radio not turning off when I open the door to get out, interior lights not coming on when door opens.
PLEASE HELP!!

just got done with this. like many only my driver door worked. then i pulled the seat, found alot of water, even it the carpit is dry. there is still alot of water in the padding and pooling inder it. found that white bridge connrctor, put back together and nothing. since i had it out i traced some wires and found one broken, fixed it. now only the DRIVERS SIDE works. ripped out the other side. it was fine. so i think out comes the drivers seat again.

I had all the same problems. I gutted the inside of my car and found no bad wires, no bad connections nothing wrong under there.
Then at a salvage yard with my son getting some parts for his car I say another SSEi with the driver'* door still in tact. (U-pull-it salvage yards are great!) I took the switch panel for my car. Everything worked!!
The driver'* door switch panel - as Purple Hazer has explained in great detail - Is much more than just switches. It'* the "command central" for all the doors and windows. If you have a good salvage yard, that would be my first thing to try before I ever took anything else apart.

Our cars are prone to water leaks. We focus on getting rid of the leaks, but forget about the damage the water might have done until we start experiencing electrical failures. I pulled my interior out this past summer for leaks. Think I will check under there next summer for any signs of damage/corrosion to the wiring.

I used to have a lot of soggy carpet after a good rain too. I had to replace my sunroof motor a few months ago. While I had the headliner out, I found the drain lines in all 4 corners and blew them all out. There was same really nasty looking crap that I blew out on my driveway!! Lots of acorns!! Anyway, I've had no problems since then. I used to have water in the trunk and I never did figure that out. I just drilled a couple of 3/8" holes in the spare tire area and that took care of that. Try shooting some compressed air through your sunroof drain lines. Works wonders.

Pour a cup of water into each of the 4 drain holes, and observe where the water comes out. If it comes out in the closest wheel well, you are okay. If it doesn't come out, come back and we will tell you how to fix it.

Timberknoxville saved me so much time on the rear window and door lock problem. Bad wire bridge under drivers seat. Water intrusion. I'm going to be a paid member just because of this help!!
