POSSIBLY FOR SALE--GUAGING INTEREST ('01 SSEi)

Yes I do love my car, however I'm considering selling it! I just
bought a really awesome 4x4 truck (wanted an
all-wheel drive truck for up here..moved here from
Los Angeles back in June) and I'm not really sure I
want to keep two vehicles around right now. I do
love my car very much and have invested a lot of
time and money into it to keep it looking as new as
possible as you can tell from the pictures in the "Pics of my 01 Bonny" thread in the "Your Ride" forum.

I have all the receipts from the oil changes
and tire rotations. I used Mobile 1 Synthetic from
the day I bought the car on July 8th, 2001 and I
changed the oil every 7,000 miles (with synthetic
it's useless to change every 3k). I also rotated
the tires every 8,000 miles. I would include the
original tires/rims (swirl chrome with chrome center
cap) with the car. Three of the original/stock
tires have about 10,000 miles left (4/32 tread left)
and the other one has about 6/32 tread left so about
half it's life (I had to get a new tire because I
had one that sprang a leak that couldn't be
repaired). The current Michelin's were bought when
I had 55K on the car so they have about 41K on them.

The only things wrong with it persay are that
in the radio console, the left little bulb behind
the red screen is out so it's 2/3 lit up.

I've had the steering shaft replaced, the fog
lamp assembly, transmission, rotors, driver's side
rear window regulator (yes all four windows work!),
the A/C compressor, and the rear passenger side
brake bulbs. I have an '03 Tranny in the car
because after 38K and change (just outside the
factory warranty but still inside the extended
warranty I had at the time) the sungear went bad (I
was told it was bad from the factory) and I had a
completely new tranny put in so the car has 96,100
miles on it but the tranny only has about 58K on it.

The blue book private party value of the car
with the afore-mentioned miles is $10,300. I still
owe a hair over $12K on the car so I'd be asking for $9K
for it (which is really a bargain) and then I'll cover the extra 3K and
change in cash so the title can be delivered to you.
I bought the car in San Antonio TX and it's spent
it's 4 year life thus far in Los Angeles before
coming here so no rust or snow or anything like
that.

As far as mods go, I have a K&N Drop-In air
filter, 18" Eco Mia Triple Chrome Plated rims, 18"
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires in the 255/45/ZR18
size, Diamond Slotted performance brake rotors and
Hawk street performance brake pads. I also have a
Cobra 360 degree radar detector hard-wired into the
electrical system so there is no hanging cord or
anything (looks very professional).

There is a 0.552% difference because of the
diameter change with the bigger tires/rims which
basically means that when you are really going
60mph, the speedo would read 60.3mph so a very small
error. That also means that the odometer reads
about 550 (give or take 5 miles) miles too high.

Clean title...no accidents...never stolen etc.
I have had the car detailed and waxed at least once
a month since I've owned it so there is no major
scratches or anything (just a few hairline ones that
would easily be buffed out in a full detail
including such a procedure).

Anyway, I'm not 100% sure I'm going to sell it
but I'm definitely leaning that way so if anyone is
interested and want to know anything else,
please let me know. I just wanted to gauge your
interest first before I ended up listing it on e-bay since you're all my fellow Bonny owners!

Thanks,
Jason

you will have NO problem selling that for 9k

if i could spare the $9K i'd be all over it. Jason, i thought you wanted to do some serious modding? i am in the market for a 00 ssei...and have found some at auction for less than $6000. but i am picky on my interior condition and color...so i haven't bitten yet...someone will pick your ride up for sure. here's a free bump :D
