front bumper scratches
My neice took my Bonnie to pick up dinner last night and rubbed the driver'* side front bumper against the side of the car port when pulling out. The paint is not scratched, but there are white streaks where it rubbed up against the metal. It is very superficial.
Not a big problem, but irritating nonetheless when the rest of my car is immaculate. Any thoughts or remedies on getting these out?? Rubbing compound? does GM make a special product?
Any help is appreciated!

I had the same thing happen to my bonnie. My wife took it to go see her mother and she ran it up onto a melting snow bank. Now it'* got a nice softball size area that has some superficial scratches in the front bumper.
I haven't had the time to actually try to remove them, but I would assume that Scratch-X or other like products could help out. I think that mine are indeed scratches in the paint. I was going to try some of that scratch cover up stuff that is color matched and see if that makes it less noticeable. My scratches are down close to the underside of the bumper and really only noticeable if you are looking straight at it.
Good luck!
