Suspension problems
I think the suspension in my car is going bad. I'm not sure if it is the front also, or just the rear.
From what I understand these are gas shocks and they have a built in pump that inflates the shock. The pump is always running, and the back end is very wobbly. When going over bumps it throws the whole car to the side and does not feel very safe.
Do you think this is my problem, and what will I need to replace it? Will something as simple and cheap as this Air shocks 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville:eBay Motors (item 370208126790 end time Jun-04-09 10:06:06 PDT) fix it?
Also how difficult is this. If these bolts are any harder to get to than the rear spark plugs I'm not having anything to do with it. I'm all for a challenge, but don't like it when I can't get to **** and do simple fixes when I know how to do them.

If your ELC system is running all the time, you have a leak in the system. Use some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray the air lines, fittings and rubber boot on the shocks and look for a leak. If the shocks are leaking, you will need to replace the shocks. Replacing the air shocks is not that hard to do.
If you have problems with the bolts, use some liquid wrench have them soak for a day or two.
