Blower Motor Question
I have a 2003 pontiac bonniville SE. My blower motor stopped working last year. I replaced it then today it stopped working again. Last year when i replaced it i noticed that the peice that connects to it was kind of melted. I dont know the name of this peice. Its plastic and it plugs into the blower motor to give it power i think. Im sure thats why it stopped working. Do you know the name of this plastic plug peice and/or where i can buy/order one? I'd appreciate any help. Thank You

Sounds like your electrical connector melted. Because the replacement motor worked for a year, it is reasonable to assume (but not certain) that the first motor caused the connector to get too hot (rather than some other component that supplies power to the motor.
Go to a junkyard, cut off a good connector with several inches of wire and use it to replace yours. Make sure your splices are good and use the entire wire diameter. Be careful not to cut or break any strands when you strip off the insulation; use the proper size of insulated butt connectors and a good crimping tool. Consider slipping on some heat-shrink tubing before you assemble the splices to add an extra measure of protection. Did you replace the cooling tube when you replaced the motor? If not, get a replacement while you are at the junkyard.
I recall that Jr's3800 had a similar problem and used the search feature to see if I could find it. If you use the search feature at the top of the page with keyword blower motor and Jr's3800 for author, you will find where he described a similar problem.
