Default Anti-Lock and Trac off lite comes on intermittently

My Anti-Lock and Trac off lite comes on intermittently and I can hear vibrating at the front wheels when it happens. This has been going on for about two weeks and three weeks ago I had the LF brake assem, new wheel bearing, and ABS sesor installed. I am taking back to my mechanic tomorrow for him to check out. Related? Comments.

Sounds like you are on the right track. With recent work, that'* the most likely candidtate.

Yep, most likely its a Wheel Speed Sensor.

This happens about half the time when I get my tires rtotated. The problem is that the WSS (wheel speed sensors) are not connected good enough, so I take it back to the shop, the make sure they are snug, and all is well.

When I turn off my car it seems to reset, then if I hit a bump or go over RR tracks, the antilock and Trac Off lights come on, and I cannot turn my traction control on with the button (probably obvious).

Default So, it wasn't the WSS for me.

I took it in to the shop for the WSS problem, they found a rear ABS wiring harness that was corroded and in need of replacement.

$170 out the door.
