My order is in, I should be receiving a 2002 or 3 Bonneville SLE or SSEi within the next week or two, I wanna know what to watch for.
Tell me what the common problems are.
Two things I know about are the windows, and the intake issue.....anything else?

SSEi won't have to worry about the intake on them.

Well the sending unit on my fuel pump just recently crapped out on my 00 SLE, this happened about a year ago on my brother'* 00 SE.... not sure how common the problem is outside of my family.

Yes, I lost my Fuel gauge sending unit also. It is another common problem.
Also coolant leaks from the intake manifold.
Assuming the SSEi.....be prepared for 12 mpg mileage when you put your foot into it.

So far my biggest problem is having too short a drive to the train every day. Not enough time to enjoy the car!

i have an 02 se, and the only problem i had was the recall on the gasket for the coolant tank thingie... i dont remember... as far as intake.. i t was fine, but it made weird noises when i took off from a dead stop with the A/C on.... but i have short ram now.. sounds better, little noise'* here and there that arent normal but dont know. no trunk leak, i have noticed before low coolant in the tank... but none on the ground. also the was some strange grease substance on my lower frame by the steering axle. dunno.. other that and my car shutting off at 60MPH once..i love my car!! *knock on wood!!*

retarded question....do i have to wait or should i for my car to warm up on a nice sunny day before giving i drive like a speeding madman??

um... i cannot promote such a course of action under these circumstances, but were you at a track, on a nice sunny day, i would say wait till the temp gauge starts to move off of cold just to be sure. im also thinking too, if your heater puts out suitable heat, the car would be warmed up enough to be comfortable handling questionable driving techniques. remember, such driving styles are recommended to be exercised only on a closed track

LakevilleSSEi- Wrong.. Intake'* can/do leak on the SSEi.

Get an SSEi though if you can! Lots of power and my last trip, when I was easy on it averaged 30.8 mpg!!!

Get one that has warranty, at least some, and you are set to go.
