out of the blue stalling

Ive had car stall on me on 3 different occasions few days apart, 2 times started right back up ,1 time took 20 minutes or so.Car gives no warning, battery reads 12.8v when car stalls ,no SES light I am assuming crankshaft sensor, The only other thing I found in a search was fuse 19 and it seems ok.

Assuming the car runs fine when it is running and just dies for no apparent reason it could be the sensor?
If its a slow death it could be the fuel system?
When was the last complete tune up?

Car just stalls random immediately.Major Tune up done end of last summer and is always kept up.Yesterday I drove 1 hr one way and 1hr back no problems, this morning wife stalled going to work 5 min away took about 20 min before it would start and now I drove around today no problems purrs like a kitten.

Next time it dies, check to see if you are getting spark. If not, my first suspect would be the crank sensor. Another possibility, though just a bit less likely is the ignition control module, under the coils.

I thought about ICM and related tightened everything up thats about it.Ill see what happens and probably go crank sensor route.thanks

That's exactly what mine did with a bad crank sensor.... Buy it at the dealership. I bought a couple bad replacements at different cheap auto parts stores. And then I found out that the dealer had the good one for only $5 more!
