'00 Has smell of coolant coming in through vents
At first it wasn't so bad, but its just got a lot worse. I checked the passenger floorboard and it is not wet. There is no signs of water anywhere on the inside. I looked under the hood and did not see any leaks anywhere.
I just had a flush done on it a couple hundred miles ago to get the Dexcool out of it. Also replaced the intake gaskets.
Any ideas?

The fins might not be completely broken on the heater core, but it could be a small enough break in the fin to make the smell of the coolant come through the vents. if it'* your heater core, eventually it will leak through the drain and onto the ground. Is the inside of your windshield foggy or have a coating of something on it?

Most likely a very small leak in or around the heater core. It doesn't take much coolant leaking in that area to stink up the whole car. Just cuz ya can't find a soggy carpet doesn't mean you don't have a leak there. In fact, if you DO have a wet carpet you pretty much have a catastrophic failure in your heater core area. If it'* just a little seepage at this point you may, MAY, be able to dump in a bit of Bars Leak or SolderSeal or other fine cooling system sealer and eliminate the leak.

How difficult is it to replace the heater cores in the 00+? Mike2fix replaced the heater core in the 98 and it wasn't fun... I watched for a bit and smiled at his displeasure =P

I was about to leave when I decided to check again, now I do feel water on the floor. Not a lot, though.
Pricing it out it looks like shucks as a heater core for $70 with a lifetime warranty. Anyone know of any other good deals?

I'm a fan of the alumaseal as well. Great stuff if you are looking to patch. If you plan on keeping the car...I'd suggest replacing the core if you are sure it'* leaking.
I'd clean the windows very well, clean the motor and engine bay to ensure all old coolant is gone and not burning off the motor causing the smell and check the wetness at the floor to ensure it'* not a leaky seal from the door or trunk.

I also have what i think to be a faint coolant smell, that or a burning tranny clutch (because that has been slipping for 40,000 miles) but the film on the windsheild is no more noticable than the usual grim that builds up over a few months on my bonne. Would you notice the smell even if the heater isnt on. I even notice the smell on hot days and I leave the climate control at 70 degrees. The smell seems to be the strongest when im sitting still.
