Crank sensor changed in my driveway. CASE learn?
What are my odds of changing my crank sensor here in my driveway with no jack and virtually no tools?
What exactly has to be done, and how tight are the balance bot and the balancer itself pressed on?

After the harmonic balancer comes off it'* pretty simple from what I understand. There may be a piece of plastic that comes off after the balancer, but that'* it. The HB though is not easy to get off with little or no tools. That sucker is on there!

i know that the balancer and the cover have to come off, but i am more concerned about accessibility with the car on the ground???? And if an electric impact will be good enough
i have almost zero tools here, everything is at my parents house, and the car doesnt move right now

Some of the members have had a hell of a time getting the nut off the crank but your car is newer than most of theirs. Are you sure it'* the crank sensor?

when mine went the guy at the garage got it started by just keep turning off the key and retrying it. He said it would finally get to a spot where it lined up and start, all I know is it finally started ???? He then drove it in the gargar abd changed the buger.

You need something to keep the motor from spinning. From my experience, those HB bolts are stuck, and in impact wrench won't cut it (Cambell pnuematic 1/2'' drive, 110 psi or so). I've heard of the flywheel cover (black plastic on the bottom of the engine) being taken off and sticking a piece of metal or maybe wood between it and the ground to keep it from spinning. I think dealers use a flywheel holder tool of some sort, if you have access to one.
Other alternative would be to use a 48'' pipe wrench around the flippin HB to hold it. We're a family of plumbers, so most of you guys may not have access to one . But if you know a plumber...
Does like Home Depot rent those out?

Forgive me if I'm wrong...I'm vastly unfamiliar with these cars, but couldn't you put a flathead screwdriver through the HB to hold it in place? Unless the HB is completely solid...
