Default My Weapon R Secret Intake on my 2001 Bonneville SSEi

I wanted to post some pictures of my Weapon R Secret Intake. The system really gives that extra power and the sound is awesome! (and I said i was going to keep this car stock) Mod bug has already hit in less then 1 month of owning.

Very Clean Look under the hood and at a reasonable price.

Looks good. But I do suggest blocking that off from the engine bay. You really don't want all that hot air going in to the intake.

I will check into doing that, this is there design but it does make sense that it is sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

Here'* how I made mine. You can use it as a guide and build it to fit.

Thanks for the detailed pictures.

Here is what we did yesterday to mine to get the cooler air into the filter. We installed the Ram Air Kit through the factory opening and down the fender well. see pictures.

This should help to get that colder air into the cone as this is designed to be a Ram Air System.

I also had to replace the Oil sending unit and it took care of the Guage pegged all the way to the right. Simple repair. This forum is really helping me with common problems with our cars.
