installing new lug nuts
well i bought some sloted cross drilled rotors for my bonn since the stock ones have warped from slowing down 20'* all the time. i replaced the driver side with no problem but on the passenger side all hell broke loose. 4 of the 5 lug nuts broke the studs off the hub. so my auestion is how do i get the old ones out. if i remember correctly you just put the new ones in the hub and install the wheel agian and that sets them but like i said hoe do you remove them. i go the caliper and rotor off do i need to remove anything else. please help as it aint going anywhere until this gets fixed since i got one lug to hold the wheel on!!!!

In that thread Archon mentions having a specialized tool that you may be able to purchase, and when he couldn't find his he carefully used a punch.
All of that was at home work, please elaborate on how it doesn't help you. Seems like I'm not fully understanding how it wouldn't lead you to ask more about the tool or try a punch like Archon did.

If your running 20'* your probly going to warp any stock diamater rotor when breaking
hard all the time..

This is the tool that I was looking for at the time. Of course, you can never find it at the time you want.
Looking back, it was probably easier knocking it out with the punch and a good sized hammer than it would have been using that tool. My concern at the time was whether or not it would cause any hub issues. I can't say for certain, as she sold the car about a year after doing that work, but up until that time there was no problem with the hub.

Or replace the spindle/wheel bearing assembly for like 50 bucks from a junk yard and get an alignment later and be done with it.

i asked about the tool in that thread. i wasn;t trying to be a smart *** just saying i found that and i did do a search before posting that all. as for the cross drilled rotors they look to be as good as stock rotors and are zinc plated so they wont get that rusted look. i was looking for a nice looking alternative to the stock rotors and for the price they could not be beat in my opinon. they are of stock diameter and size but this should be better then stock...we will see. if they work out i will let you guys know!!! thanks for the info on the tool.
